🚨 Error Solution: "A Timeout Occurred" 🚨

If you receive the **"A Timeout Occurred"** error when starting the client, follow these steps to force a correct update:

Step 1: Press Windows + R keys and type %appdata% in the window that appears to open the application data folder.

Step 2: Find and enter your OTClientV8 folder (folder name may vary slightly).

Step 3: Inside the OTClientV8 folder, **DELETE** the root folder containing the game files.

AFTER THE STEPS: Run the client again. It will perform an automatic update and fix the error!

EXTRA UPDATE: Main Mini Map Revealed!

We have released the Main Mini Map (cities and surroundings) already explored for the OTv8 Client.

ATTENTION: Dungeons and hunting areas are NOT explored, requiring you to discover them!

Prerequisite: You must have opened the client at least once and logged into the game for the folder to be created.

IMPORTANT: This process must be done with the OTv8 Client CLOSED.

Follow the steps to install the revealed mini map:

FIRST: Download Mini Map File (.otmm)

Step 1: Press Windows + R keys and type %appdata% in the window that appears to open the application data folder.

Step 2: Find and enter your OTv8 folder (folder name may vary slightly).

Step 3: Inside the OTv8 folder, open **other Otv8 folders** until you reach the root folder corresponding to step 4.

Step 4: In the root folder (containing the minimap), if there is any file named **minimap772.otmm**, **DELETE IT**. Then, paste the **minimap772.otmm** file you downloaded above into this folder.

AFTER ALL STEPS: Log in to the OTv8 client again to load the mini map.
